The issuance of 2 tranches of debentures totaling 4 billion baht has received a positive response from investors, reaffirming confidence in the company's robust business fundamentals. Additionally, plans are in motion to open 600 more branches, propelling the credit portfolio to grow between 20-25% in 2021, maintaining a sustained high performance.

Parithad Petampai, Deputy Managing Director of Muangthai Capital Public Company Limited (MTC), disclosed that the company offered 2 tranches of debentures, comprising a 2-year tenure with a yield of 2.95% per annum and a 3-year tenure with a yield of 3.23% per annum, totaling 4 billion baht between February 18-19 and 22, 2021. The overwhelming subscription of these offerings solidifies investor confidence in the company's fundamental factors, in line with its remarkable operational performance, setting consecutive new records.

MTC provides loan services to retail customers and currently operates a total of 4,884 branches across 74 provinces nationwide. In 2020, the company reported a net profit of 5.214 billion baht with a loan portfolio of 70.607 billion baht, maintaining a low non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 1.06% compared to the total loan portfolio.
